Bonanza is a specialist wholesale fresh produce supplier. Their main products are tomatoes and avocados, which are cultivated in Mexico to then be market worldwide.
Bonanza has two main offices, Guadalajara, Mexico and Pharr, USA. The architecture project for their offices in Pharr was designed by Estudio Ala, an architecture and design studio based in Mexico.
The architecture concept born from the idea of creating a building that from its exterior structure resembles a hermetic solid block, while in its interior owns an open atmosphere created by a central garden.
Objective:
Estudio Ala commissioned Fugitiva to design the environmental graphics to complement the atmosphere of the brand in the architecture.
Solution:
The conception of the signage has a direct link to the building’s architecture. The building is formed, in its majority, by fibreglass panels that help to maintain appropriate temperatures for the products.
The signage was conceived from the vertical lines that cover the building walls. The vertical stripes were taken to develop different forms and signs that create a contrast to the pattern walls with colours from the brand that contrast the whiteness of the material.
